Alicia
This is my Aunty Alicia, I did her eyelashes when I visited Hawaii!! They had an eyelash party, I had so much fun doing her and her friend's lashes! They all turned out great. She naturally has a good amount of eyelashes they are just short. So we ended up doing a medium diameter on her and a medium length, we were going for a natural but dramatic look. What do you think?

Hannah wanted her eyelash extensions a cat eyed dramatic look! She wants to be able to stand out in a crowd ;)
I did 11, 12, and 13 mm on her and used .2 and .25. They were the perfect thickness and the perfect length! (I think!)
These by far are probably my favorite set I have done in a while!! I may be an addict to the cat eye look now. (Cat eye is when the eyelashes gradually get longer toward the outside of her eyes opening up her eyes!)

Miss Mindi has been wearing strip lashes for a while now, and has finally decided to convert over : )
She says that she has worn "strip" lashes for years, and feels that they have weakened her natural lashes. Mindi also says that she feels she has less of her own eyelashes. So we started her off with a thinner lash, and a natural curl. There are different types of curl you can use. I don't use the natural curl that often, no reason in particular. I think our overall look turned out great. What do you think?

Getting Married?
If you're planning on getting eyelash extensions for your wedding I recommend getting them 2-3 days prior. This way they will be looking full, and if you cry it's okay, because it's past the first 24 hours of allowing them to fully dry!!

What type of products are used?
We carry the popular line of BLINK eyelash extensions.
Blink eyelash extensions provide us with Ultra Bond Glue, which is the strongest hold, lasting up to 6 weeks!! Make sure you're asking what glue is being used by your lash artist. There are different glues, creating different bonding times.
We carry the popular Signature Mink eyelash extensions. These eyelash extensions are NOT 100% real Mink fur. You may ask why? We don't use real Mink because too many people have had allergic reactions to them. I have heard complaints of itchyness, swelling, red eyes, etc. It is not normal for your eyes to be ithcy, nor is it comfortable. This is why we use Signature Mink eyelash extensions. Heard of complaints about painful eyelash extensions?
I had a client last week that called me frantic.
(I did not put her set of eyelash extensions on)
She complained that her eyelash extensions were hurting her eyes, and
that she felt like there were needles poking her eyes!
She couldn't take the pain and wanted them off!
I had her come in and I knew exactly why they were hurting her.
The eyelash extensions she had put on, (by someone that WAS NOT me) were glued to her actual eyelid and were attached to more than one eyelash.
If the eyelash extensions are attached to the eyelid it WILL cause you to be in pain, and you will feel like needles are poking at your eyes.
It is not normal for a trained professional to glue eyelashes to your eyelid.
Make sure that you research your lash artist, ask to see pictures, and read their reviews.
Don't go into it blind, these are your eyes, the thing people see first!!

I had the chance to go to her reception, she look absolutely flawless.

Hair extensions!
I never post anything about hair extensions so I figure it's about time for that!

We did the sew in method on this lovely lady.

They are slighty longer on the outside edge to give it a cat eye look and open up her eyes a little.

Flares, clusters, strips, and individuals. What is the difference?
Many people have heard that eyelash extensions are damaging to the natural eyelashes.
I'd like to disagree.
How? Why? Is that possible? YES!
As long as your eyelash extensions are applied INDIVIDUALLY, they are NOT damaging.
Flare, Clusters, and Strip eyelashes are damaging because they are not applied individually.
How can these be damaging?
Strip eyelash extensions are damaging because when you take them off you rip off your natural eyelashes which are not ready to fall out yet. That will lead to fewer lashes for you every time the strip eyelash extensions are applied then taken off, which will soon result in "bald spots".
"Bald Spots"=a hole in your lash line where eyelashes were pulled out when they were not ready.
Flare and Cluster eyelash extensions are also damaging because they are not individual.
Flare and Cluster eyelash extensions are sometimes layered on top of each other which can result in something that is too heavy for your natural eyelashes and cause them to break!
Flare and Cluster eyelash extensions are applied to more than one natural eyelash.
When this happens it rips out natural eyelashes that are not ready to come out.
So that is the difference between individual, flare, strip, and cluster eyelash extensions.
Be safe! Stick with INDIVIDUAL EYELASH EXTENSIONS.
Make sure you ask your lash artist what type of eyelash extensions they use, and that they are individual eyelash extensions.

What you need to know before coming.
When coming in for your eyelash extensions appointment make sure you have no eye make up on.
I recommend that you stay clear of any water on your eyes for 24 hours after your eyelash extensions are put on.
Upon leaving you will receive a mascara brush that you will use daily to brush any "tangles" your lashes may have.
